Join the community by becoming a member.

Our aim is to keep providing free daily meditations and deep work sessions.

This means we rely on external support (a small membership fee) for funding. Support us by becoming a member for only 10 euros.

As a member of Student Meditation, you can join all our events for free, including the courses we teach -and yes, you don't have to be linked to the UvA to be a member 😃. Read more about why you should become a member below.

Step 1: membership fee

We are legally obliged by the University of Amsterdam to require a member fee. If you just want to support us or give more, you can always donate here.

You can become a member for:

• 1 year = 10 euros
  All you have to do is select 10 euros when you click on the bunq link!
• 2 years = 15 euros
• 3 years = also 15 euros (Loyalty pays off! 😃)

Step 2: contact details

That's it: Welcome! You are now part of the community.

You will receive a welcome email with all the information you need within one week. You will be added to our mailing list to get our monthly members' email, and you will be invited to our community's group chat. Introduce yourself if you like! We won't bite.

Why should I become a member?

• Find a welcoming community of like-minded others.

When you are a member, you are officially part of the community! You will receive our monthly members newsletter to stay up to date on everything that is happening in and around Student Meditation. You will also get access to the members-only community chat, where you can reach out to and be in touch with like-minded others (come talk to us!) or create a conversation about an event or any meditation-related topic.

• Get access to all our events, for free.

This one is pretty self-explanatory. Come join us!

• Help us stay alive.

In order to be able to stay in existence as an official, recognized and funded student society, we need to have a certain amount of members every year. You would really help us stay alive and kicking by becoming a member.
