Meditation has been consistently found to have a positive impact on stress levels, concentration, acceptance, and overall life satisfaction. Once a week, for five weeks, you'll get more insight into how your mind works. Together with a few enthusiastic student meditators, you'll learn to navigate thought loops, manage downward spirals, and find peace in a constantly active mind. We will help you cultivate living in the present, embracing acceptance, and letting go of constant worries. The emphasis of the course will be on giving clear and down-to-earth instructions so everyone can make the practice their own.

Date, time and location

The course will be given on Wednesday evenings on the following dates:

There will be a short tea break in the middle of the sessions.

All sessions will take place in-person at Radix Nova. The meeting place is at the entrance of Radix Nova and then we will let you in. So, be sure to be 5 minutes early!

If you sign up, please make sure that you can attend all or most of the sessions, since the sessions build on top of each other and there are limited spots.

Also we suggest that you try to make space in your life to dedicate 10-20 minutes daily to building a meditation practice throughout the course.

Contents of the course

We will teach you the basics of breath meditation. After taking the beginners' course, you'll have learned techniques and concepts that enable you to practice meditation effectively on your own. We provide support and encouragement for building a regular meditation habit. Among other things we discuss concepts such as the monkey mind, mindfulness, kindness, intention and the difference between awareness and attention.

But it is also intended as a strong foundation for people that might want to explore other meditation practices like lovingkindness.
